Basildon Council’s Planning Committee approved (January 10th 2017) Sempra Homes’ application to build new homes on the disused SPACE youth centre in Long Lynderswood, Basildon.
The development will see 20 two-bedroom apartments built, along with car and cycle parking and associated landscaping.
There will be 33 parking spaces provided including 20 for residents and 13 for visitors.
The site has been vacant since the youth centre closed in 2013.
All 20 homes will be made available for purchase as shared ownership.
