A mum of four is one of the first tenants to move into Sempra’s brand new homes at St Nicholas Mews, Ballards Walk.
Marian Abraham, 41, a community carer who is moving in with her four children, aged between three and 18, has lived in Vange since 2002 as a council tenant.
She said: “Me and my kids are really looking forward to moving in. Being able to move to a brand new house is so nice and I feel quite lucky to be able to do so.”
Cllr Anthony Hedley, Basildon Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing and Community Safety, said: “I was delighted to hand over the keys to Miss Abraham. It’s heartening to see that Sempra Homes is already making a difference to families in Basildon.”
