Sempra Homes is delighted to announce the launch of its new homes at its much-anticipated Tyefields development in Basildon. These two and three-bedroom homes will be available to view during an exclusive launch event on Saturday 11th October from 12:00pm to 3:15pm.
Blending modern style, comfort, and quality living, the homes are ideal for a wide range of buyers, from growing families to first-time buyers, offering the chance to be part of a thriving new community in the heart of Essex.
Each home is built to high standards and features contemporary fitted kitchens, private gardens or outdoor spaces, parking with electric vehicle charging points and energy efficient systems to reduce running costs.
The Tyefields development will also provide 13 Shared Ownership homes, supported by Government funding to help Basildon first-time buyers take their first steps onto the housing ladder. The scheme also delivers wider community benefits, including improvements to Great Chalvedon Hall Open Space with new play facilities, picnic areas, enhanced accessibility, and habitat corridors to support local biodiversity.
Councillor Gavin Callaghan, leader of Basildon Council, welcomed the completion, praising the collaboration that made the projects possible. He said: “I want to say a massive thank you to The Hill Group, who’ve helped build these properties, and to all our local contractors and suppliers who’ve played their part in the process.
"And a huge thank you to Homes England and the Government, who provided funding to help get these homes out of the ground - so that we can give Basildon families opportunities to get onto the housing ladder and have a place to call their own.”

Sempra Homes, the subsidiary company of Basildon Council, is delivering Tyefields in partnership with award-winning housebuilder The Hill Group, alongside the Broadmayne and Chapelgate developments. This progress has been made possible thanks to vital grant funding from Homes England, as part of a wider strategic partnership involving Basildon Council, South Essex Council, One Public Estate, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Together, this partnership has helped unlock land and accelerate construction.
